tathagta
every tathagta garment is thoughtfully crafted from handloomed natural fibres — chemical-free, and made to last.
small variations in texture, tone, and finish are part of the beauty of natural materials and mindful craftsmanship.
01 — natural fabrics
we use handloomed fabrics and natural dyeing processes that honour both people and the planet. as with many natural-fibre garments, some colour transfer may occur during the first few washes.
to preserve the life of your garment:
hand wash gently with mild soap or detergent.
wash with similar colours.
avoid harsh chemicals and bleach.
dry in shade whenever possible.
a simple way to care for both your clothes and the environment is to wash only when needed. natural fibres age beautifully when allowed to breathe between wears.
please refer to the care label attached to your garment for specific instructions.
02 — natural shrinkage
cotton is a living fibre that naturally settles after washing. to minimize shrinkage, our fabrics are pre-washed and carefully prepared before they are cut and stitched.
with proper care, only minimal shrinkage should be expected.
03 — ironing
for the best finish, iron while the garment is slightly damp or use a steam iron.
use a warm to medium-hot setting.
steam is recommended for delicate details.
avoid direct heat on prints, embroidery, or other embellishments.
with mindful care, your tathagta garment will soften, evolve, and accompany you for years to come.
